Men's Scissor Over Comb Technique

Natural Hairline

Having being trained in London for 15 years, I learned the scissor over comb cutting technique from some of the best in the world.  This technique is favored among men over the standard clipper cut hairline by men who enjoy a more natural look, yet still having their haircut tight to the scalp.  This is a softer and more natural looking hairline than those cut with a traditional clipper and leaving a squared off look on the edges looking artificial.  Besides that, the hairline is visible to everyone and stubble will begin to show within the first 7 days of regrowth of hair, sometimes sooner.  The Men's Scissor Over Comb technique used in cutting the nape and back of the hairline, grows out with a softer edge  because of the beveling of each hair caused by cutting them with the scissor's blades and not a clippers blade.  This leaves the client looking good even as they come back in 4 weeks time for another cut, or sometimes just for a clean-up in 2 weeks on the hairline alone.  Whereas the clipper cut will grow out a blunt or squared off hair strand, leaving a strong stubble to see on the neck of the client.  I prefer scissor over comb technique over clipper cutting.   Any day I can use it on a client who wants a natural hairline over a squared off one... I will.
Thanks for listening...
